Content Credentials Checker
Drop in an image, video, or audio file and see whether it carries a C2PA content credential — a cryptographic signature that AI tools such as Claude, and cameras and editors such as Adobe, embed in the file metadata.
Meqyas AI helps individuals and organizations measure AI readiness, then move from diagnosis to a practical adoption roadmap.
- A missing credential does not mean the content is human-made — credentials are stripped by screenshots, re-saving, format conversion, and most social platforms.
- A present credential proves a signature exists; on its own it does not prove how the content was created.
- This tool checks embedded credentials in supported media and PDF files. It does not classify Word documents or plain text as human-written or AI-generated.
- Remote credentials and online revocation checks are disabled. Signer names are declared metadata unless trust is verified.

Missing credentials do not prove human origin. Metadata and signer names alone do not establish authenticity.
This file carries no C2PA manifest. That is the expected result for most files on the web, including many that were AI-generated.
